It’s been a crazy week.  I’m in New York and we got hit with a crazy storm yesterday.  Tons of snow and lightning and thunder too.  I was up late enjoying the weather.  At one point the sky lit up blue and it made some crazy sound from where I was, more like the smoke monster from Lost or thing from Cloverfield.  It was pretty insane.  The foot or so of snow gave me the opportunity to do some work and a little writing.  It was nice to reflect a little.  I did find some pretty cool stuff for you guys so I hope you’ll enjoy!

Donate $1 To A Charity And Be Sure That 99 Cents Gets There – Click Here!

I wrote previously how I gave up getting presents and going out to celebrate my birthday this in lieu of raising money to donate around the world.  I wanted to help make some peoples dreams come true and that’s what I did.  It was great feeling and I’ve enjoyed making loans across the world.  I wanted to share with you guys another opportunity to help do some good.  Philanthroper is a website similar to groupon in which each day it features a charity and allows you to donate $1 to that cause.  It uses a fantastic processing system call mPayy that takes only 1% of the donation.  That means that for every dollar donated only a penny goes to fees.  If you are looking for a way to give pack this might be for you!

The Future Of The Internet And Society Lies In Trust – Click Here!

If it hasn’t become apparent yet it soon will that trust is becoming an extremely large part of our experience.  Both online and off I rely on trust to take care of me.  I read site from bloggers who I know are giving me their best work.  I will buy products from someone who I trust is knowledgeable on a subject over something that I’ve only seen advertised. We might not all be becoming cyborgs with wormholes in our head but the future is going to offer us more and more ways to interact with each other and we need to learn how to function with that.  Mike Donghia from The Art Of Minimalism shows you how he sifts through all the noise and learns to trust people.

Packing Light While Living Cold and Ridiculously Extraordinary Q&A – Click Here!

Two posts from Karol Gajda!  The first one is an updated light packing list that he revamped for his stay in Chicago.  I love these lists and found out he has some pretty interesting gear.  The second link is another massive post.  Karol took the time to answer a boat load of questions on Business, LifeHacking, his life, and Personal Development and filled his answers with some really great insights.  I haven’t read through the whole thing yet but skimming through it was enough to let me know there is some great info.

Farming, Exploration, and You! – Click Here!

There can be tension between people who are choosing to find a new way to live and those who are not.  It’s a tricky thing to navigate, especially on a personal level.  Tyler Tervooren offers a fantastic way to look and think about these difference and why both ways of life are so important to the world.  Go give it a read and figure out if you are a Farmer, Explorer, or both!

As always thank you for coming and reading.  I hope I was able to share some new stuff with you guys and if you’ve got something to share with me leave it below in the comments I’ll definitely check it out.  I just started an e-mail subscription to this site so if you’d like to get site updates automatically just sign up using the form below.  It only takes two seconds and you can quit at any time!

Hehe. I wrote the first paragraph of this last night and kind of forgot to edit it. Apologies for over using “crazy”. :-D

Hey Scott,

Thanks for spreading the word. This is one of the first round-ups I’ve seen where I was actually interested in every article.
